Hesh--

After seeing this guitar 'up close and personal' I know that it will be stunning to see when finished. I was also very impressed with the responsiveness of the top when it was tapped. Can't wait to hear it with strings.

That seal coat give a little better idea of what the Git will look like and I'm even seeing more and more that black top is the right way!

I can hardly wait to see this finished. Which at this rate should be about 11 O'clock tonight, Right?

Do you alternate router directions into and out of the waist to reduce tear out, like some do or do you just cut conventional?

Oh, and that Lutz has some absolutly killer silking. That is one nice looking top.

Don't worry, I won't bug you about the Black Top, I think that is going to look stunning also and I think you've made the right decision. Either way, that guitar is going to be a real looker. Well done.

It's going to be like a surprise gift someday when a player or repairman looks in there with a mirror to see just how ugly the wood is. I'd love to see that reaction!
